Our purpose

Her circumstances don't define her future.

We believe opportunity should not depend on the situation a girl was born into, or the setback she encounters along the way.

Who we are

We believe in the power of the right moment.

ForHer Development Foundation focuses on expanding opportunities for women and girls facing socioeconomic barriers.

We identify what's standing in her way and provide or connect her to the support she needs to progress, from education and practical skills to finance, markets and lasting economic opportunity.

✓ Tailored support, not one-size-fits-all solutions
✓ Dignity and agency in every intervention
✓ Sustainable progress beyond immediate assistance
Our vision

A world where a girl's circumstances don't set the limits of her possibilities.

A setback should not become a life sentence.

We want women and girls to gain or regain momentum, access learning, build financial independence and move toward futures they can choose for themselves.

Our operating principle
The realities we respond to

We ask what is actually standing in her way.

LIFE EVENT

When life changes without warning

Loss of a parent or caregiver, pregnancy, illness, assault or another shock can change a girl's path.

PRACTICAL GAP

When small costs block big dreams

School fees, books, transport, childcare, food, basic healthcare or menstrual health essentials.

ECONOMIC GAP

When potential needs a pathway

Market access, capital, training, mentoring and practical financial skills can help turn capability into income.
